Cairo Airport (Renovation of TB2)

Project brief : The renovated TB2 is expected to accommodate 7.5 million passenger a year, which is almost double the current capacity. The total built-up area of the project is about 123,000 square meters comprising the renovation of the existing building and landside area, as well as the construction of new buildings that include a new departure hall and airside pier which will duplicate the existing total built-up area. The project also include the construction of all ancillary buildings, services, electromechanical works/ equipment, baggage handling system (tilt tray sorter system).
